Is it possible that at almost 38 I could be going through menopause or soon?

Question

I am 10 days late with my period and have had bowel cancer, but have not got the cancer anymore. My mother went through menopause at 34 after she gave birth to my brother. No I am not pregnant. So could this mean I am or will be going through menopause soon. I hope so.

It is becoming so difficult to believe anything you say.
I posted earlier that you must have been cured of the cancer and just afterwards you began announcing that very thing.
If God healed you, if you had Cancer then the praise goes to Him and Him alone.
Do not entertain other illnesses to get sympathy for yourself.

This poster is a liar (read her posts for proof) who claims she was healed of cancer "I almost died in my mothers arms last saturday before I was healed as I was gasping for air, and no I do not have asthma, it was spreading to my lungs, and I was pale as a ghost, and almost on my last legs" but yet this same day you were on Yahoo answers and in your other post under general diseases & conditions you say they have ruled out bowel cancer. She also sends many here (including myself) hate mail, don't answer her.

It's possible that you are starting in to perimenopause (the step before full menopause) but check with your dr to be on the safe side.

Hard to say. It's very young to be going through it, but it can happen. i have heard of some women going through it even as early as late twenties, early thirties.

So there are things that can set that in motion and some of them can be illness/toxic related issues also.
Perhaps it's genetic for you.

yes early menapause does occur and the fact that your mother had hers come so early is also a sign. The best way to tell is have your hormone levels checked.

I started at that age. Go to doctor. A blood test can tell you and then they can prescribe meds to help you through this.

It is not possible but not imposible either. You must take a pregnancy test.
