Its either a sunday or monday night, like last night for instance there was nothing on, then on channel 4 they showed a Ben Affleck film which I thought, ok ill watch that, didnt finish until half one in the morning! So I went to bed and on radio 2 found this brilliant music show, at half twelve at night!!! Why are these programmes shown at such awkwared times, another example Match of the day 2, or the coca cola cup highlights, finish at 12.15 on a sunday night! What the hell?

Because the channel bods want to annoy you. Happens just about every day. Just when you have been bored stupid by programmes and the midnight hour approaches, on come the good programmes. Suggest you do some recording and watch them at a reasonable hour.

When I was a kid I used to listen to Dr. Demento on Sunday nights.
Also used to listen to Syracuse University basketballs games. The absolute worst thing to try and fall asleep to.

Well because they know more people watch tv before they go to bed and will get there attention and they will watch it if they really like it.. and plus most people are home from school/work by then.

Because brain-dead programmes are on during prime-time to please the dullard masses, e.g. soap operas, make-over programmes, weight-loss programmes, etc.
The more cerebral stuff is shoved on in the middle of the night. Even music stores sell the most intelligent movies cut-price as most people want dumb romantic comedies on DVD.
