What silicone? Maybe someone was careless sealing a line somewhere? Maybe a vandal got loose? Really, you didn't give us enough information and how can I top the "supermodel fell into the oil tanker" answer anyway?

I've heard that silicon is used in diesel, perhaps it's a "wrong valve opened" thing at the depot.
