Imagine the happiness of the recipient with your creation. That's what inspired you to make it. They will treasure it and always remember who gave it to them. A little bit of immortality.

I think I may have found the perfect solution for you.
Keep the baby blanket you just spent weeks or months making and just buy a brand new one at a baby store instead to offer to the baby but make sure you take all the manufacturer's labels off first otherwise...
Otherwise God help you!
See? That way you won't have to worry about any kind of departure or suffer from any separation anxiety whatsoever!
Was that a good idea or not?
Let me know!
Good luck to you!

Make a different one just like the first one and either give the first or the second one away to the rightful owner.

Either make another one for the recipient or make another one for yourself. I have done that on more than one occasion. Take a few pictures of it so you can make a new one and get started on it soon. Go for it!!
