If you are interested in this you REALLY REALLY MUST read 'Krishnavatara' by K. M. Munshi, it is absolutely the best thing in the world. You can buy it at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and the books are extremely affordable, at around Rs 25 or 50.
Even if you're not particularly into reading, you simply MUST. Its a wonderful experience.
Its a series of seven and one incomplete book, unfortunately the author died before he could finish his work. You will specially enjoy the 1st 'The magic flute' , 2nd 'Wrath of an Emperor' , 3rd 'The five brothers' and the 5th 'The book of Satyabhama'. These are the BEST.
I was not particularly devoted to any god earlier. But after reading these books, I've totally changed a lot of my ideas. The books are SO believable, it brings across Krishna as a person, the miracles believable (and I'm cynical !!), and rich in history and simple everyday philosophy.
I cannot say enough about these books. It makes Krishna so human, and yet so divine. I learnt a lot from it. And they are not preachy or didactic.
Hey, I'm glad you're interested, can we get in touch?

Sanskrit and Hindi literature are full of books about Radhey-shyam romance. you will notice almost all temples in India have idols of Radhey-krishna. Only in Pandharpur , Maharashtra there is a big temple, where Kishna and Rukmini are worshipped.
In sanskrit,'Geet Govindam" by poet Jaidev of the 11th century, is supposed to be the best about eternal love of the duo.
And 'Kanupriya' by Dharamveer Bharti, in Hindi, of 20th century is a very sensitive poetic description of Radha waiting for Krishna to come back. Kanu priya means, Krishna's sweetheart, i.e. Radha.

You can't act big black bags under your eyes! Even if the mother was in on it - the father wouldn't have been and he looked just as run down. You are all just being mean and that boils down to one thing - the fact that they are from a council estate!! Who cares - and if they are cashing in on it - what about the people who are prepared to pay!!! They may be making money from it to benefit their child who will be scarred form her experience for the rest of her life! Also talking of making money the McCanns are the ones making the most and nobody is complaining of that!
