Does need for speed underground 2 run on directX 9.0b?

I already installed directx 9.0c but on dxdiag (after restarting), it still shows that my DirectX version is still 9.0b.

yea! the dxdiag may show it is but if you installed it then it is there! the diag may not detect it direct changes time to time but that may still be there!

the question with ug2, it should! if not it will not load up at all!
