Everyone always asks me how I came up with this name and I tell them about the book and how i just liked the name. Is there anyone out there who can guess?

"To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. The character is Jeremy Atticus Finch, also known as Jem, who was the son of the character Atticus Finch and the brother of the "narrator" and main character Jean Louis Finch, also known as Scout.

If you are referring to Jem Finch, then it's from To Kill a Mockingbird, my favorite book of all-time!
Otherwise, it came from the novel "Jem" by Frederik Pohl or the DC Comic character Jemm.
