I have already tried the following:

uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers
replacing the toner
trying the printer on a different computer (this worked)
contacting the support personnel (they're really useless)
rebooting the computer and printer
successfully printing a test page
checking the paper level

The print job turns out to not have successfully reached the printer. I'm running Windows 2000 (XP on the other computer tried).

Help!

I will award the best answer prize to the first answer that leads to a successful print. Answers that are useless, just for points (I don't know, or Contact the support personnel) will be reported for abuse.

You must have connected the printer to a different USB port.
Try remove all printer and printer driver from your printer folder,
do not plug in the printer yet, run the driver installation from cd, when the program prompt you to plug in the printer, now plug in the printer and your computer should detect and complete the printer installation. Always use this USB port.

IF NOT IS THIS, VERIFY THE TONER. SOMETIMES REPLACING HIS CAUSE SUCCESS!
IF NOTHING OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS NOT RESULT IS RECOMMENDED SEARCH SOMEBODY IN YOUR CITY OR IN NEIGHBOURNES WHAT HAVE GOOD REFERENCES OF YOUR FRIENDS AND REPAIR ANYBODY FAILS IN THE EQUIPMENT. GOOD LUCKY!
