You take $4,000 (your salary) and divide by 28 (28 days in Feb) you get your daily wage number = $142.86. Take the daily wage $142.86 and multiply by 11 days = $1,571.46.

Even though the HR policies are same, some company consider all the days in a month while some consider only the working days i.e., in feb out of 28 day if 22 days were working and if you have taken leave for 17 days then you will get paid for (22-17) days. Check with you Hr for details.
