do you think Euthanasia should be made illegal or legal? and could you tell me why?

My ex was a nurse in an old folks home. She used to tell me stories of how the patients with dementia and Alzheimer's would get tied to their beds for their own safety. Can you imagine spending your life living it the way you want only at the end to be tied down to have to sit in your own urine and feces for hours on end because you were as a patient, too much trouble?
Allow me the option to either end it all with my dignity or a way to have a doc do it when certain conditions are met in my medical profile. I don't want to go out like that.
Or how about a person completely in control of their mental faculties and maybe turned into a quadriplegic? I think I'd like the option of saying put me out. By lethal injection since it's been court proven to be painless and humane.

It should stay illegal.
Studies were done recently (I'll get the info from my sis who was telling me about this) about countries where Euthanasia is legal. The medical technology is stunted in those countries, because the cure for pain is euthanasia... in countries where euthanasia is illegal, medical technology is more advanced, because, rather than killing people who are suffering from this, that, or the other, we seek a cure.

Legalize euthanasia. We grant this mercy to our animal companions but not to ourselves, the cancer victims and other endurers of neverending pain. I would like to have a choice before my infirmaries prevent me from calling a nurse or a friend to make my wishes known.

Illegal. I think when some people think they want to die, it's because friends and family have given them the impression that they're just a burden on everyone.

euthanasia should be legal because it would help the economy and it would help people have a more dignified death.

Think Euthinezia can be treated with herbal tea but you should check out the doctor first.
