my friend told me she watched some cop show and this guy was living in a family's house's attic and would watch the girl thru the vents, like for air and heat. is any of this true? has this ever happened before?

I seriously doubt it considering the ducting for homes is about 12-18 inches wide. I have heard of a guy that rented a house out to a girl and watched her through a two-way mirror and could move through the walls.

I don't know if that particular case is true, but there have been other cases where it really has happened. I saw a special on 20-20 about it.

there was a movie about that in the 80's with Gary Busey. it was a movie. that didn't really happen. sorry to ruin it for you.
