I have been remarried for almost 2 years and it seems that my wife just can't be pleased anymore. Everything I do for her is never quite enough. My first wife was always happy with everything I/we did, but this is not the case with my "New" wife. If I buy her roses, they're not the right color, so guess what? I quit buying her flowers! What should I do now? My thoughts are just stop trying to please her...maybe she is spoiled. Her first husband never gave her anything (according to her grown kids) so here I come...Mr. stupid fool! i thought I could do some little things every now and then...NOT ANYMORE! What do you folks think? Ladies...any Ideas as to why she is this way? Guys...Doesn't this seem just like 'em?

Yes a man can make a woman happy. My husband has made me the happiest woman on this planet. I don't know why any wife would be mad over flowers. I love getting any kind of gift from my man... simply because he took the time to get it especially for me. I don't have a clue why she would be acting like she is. I hope things get better with your relationship. As a woman, I'd like to apologize for her actions... we are not all that way.

Maybe she's going through something, I'm sure she'd like to just have you or show her that you care by listening, talking, or helping her with something she's going through. or maybe you pissed her off and flowers aren't an easy fix...try communicating with her

Nope. Actually maybe she is spoiled or maybe you are just not listening to what is she really wants? Does she want someone to help around the house? Is she overworked or tired? Did she tell you she hated cherry pie and you bought it for her anyway? Sometimes guys know what traditionally women want, but fail to realize that each women is completely different and they have their own tastes, wants and preferences.

First of all, it is not YOUR responsiblity to MAKE your wife happy. If she is not happy that problem lies within herself to resolve. Obviosly she wasn't treated very well by her first husband. So she is not expecting YOU to treat her any differently than he did...She needs to learn how to accept what is offered to her but she doesn't know how. I'm inclined to say a bit of couples therapy might do you both good. It will help her accept your gestures as well as help you understand her.
