Strangely, only since last year they had the same song being played every time contestants leave. Seasons 1 to 4 do not have fixed song being played.
Anyway, to answer your question, the song played in Season 6 when the contestants leave is "Home" by the band Daughtry, which is formed by last year's fourth place finalist Chris Daughtry.
Since Daniel Powter's "Bad Day" was played every time after an elimination last year and Powter appeared a guest performer during the Finale, it is speculated that Chris Daughtry might be a guest performer too this season.

Dont particularly watch it i catch bits and products when I walk previous n my fam is watching it however the day previous to this i observed that adam guy n the way he sung ring of fire grew to become into unusual yet i style of enjoyed it!
