My friend and i have been close for years. I often tell her how beautiful she is and it makes her feel wonderful. A few times she would try on some new pants and complain abvout how her butt looked. I think her butt is perfect but don't know if it's disrespectful to say so. I don't want to offend her or hurt our friendship but i do want her to know how beautiful she really is.

HI,if you are very close friends and you share everything with each other, then it does not matters what you are sharing. You can make an environment in which you can express your views or you can say this in a friendly manner or in a joking manner. Try this trick.

Chances are she knows perfectly well how great her butt is but she's just one of those sad girls who wants to hear the whole world sing her praise. My advice is to not tell her.

compliments are fantastic, a real booster on self esteem.
however, if you and your friend is single, try and make sure that the compliment is not interpreted as a "come on." in short, compliment on her butt only when she asks for your opinion!
