Since 2 weeks I'm having a pain from the left back of my shoulders right up to my neck .

I am unable to move neck properly, though I don't have that much pain and actually I don't want to go and see a doctor.

I want to know

1.whether this pain will go away later
2.what can i do to get relieved from pain
3.how long will it take for my shoulder to be completely healed.
4.is this a muscle pain
Thanks to have any feedback

depending on how you hurt it will determine how long it takes .it could be a vertabrae in your neck pinching a nerve . im no doc but i have had neck surgery to replace a vertabrae so heres my sugestion . take two and a half aleive every 4 to 6 hours . walmart has these pain patches called salonpas there real good get them it helps now heres where we get you some muscle relaxers go to a herbshop tell them your problem and you need muscle relaxers they got herbs for that. now you are going to have to get something to hold your arm in a sling and keep you from useing that side for a week or two to give it time to heal after this time period of not using your arm your going to have to stretch it out its going to probably hurt from not using it but reach above your head a few times and the kink will come out.

You're not going to like this but you really should see a doctor or a chiropractor. These would be the best 2 to see as no-one on the net even if they were doctors would be able to diagnose you without seeing you. You may well have damaged something in there and could be doing more damage by avoiding medical intervention. My ex has had so much pain in the same area he has to be operated on and may lose the use of his arm because of this operation, but would rather risk it than go through any more pain. If this is what you want to risk then by all means take advice from strangers who know squat or do the right thing and have it checked out by a professional. It may be something really simple or it could be really bad. Dont be a baby see a doctor.

First thing try a good massage by a trained therapist (one that is NOT named Bambi, Rod, Desire, or Dick)

Next see a chiropractor. This can be frustrtating because it only helps a little bit at a time and you need to go back for the rest of your life.

Finally see a doctor. Life is too short for that kind of pain
