how can i tell if my gold bar is real? The bar says 37.5 grams of 24K but it only weighs 18-19 grams on scale

The gold bar says it is .9999 fine gold from Hong Kong 37.5 grams in weight. On the scale it is only 18-19 grams.

Take it to the nearest jewelers, they will be able to tell you, I'd say whoever sold it to you ripped you off, was it an ebay purchase?
