I have just had major surgery and my doc has put me on the sick because of that .I just want info to see if we would loose any money with me being on sick .

unless he is your carer you should be claiming it yourself, you can get incapcity benefit, disabled living allowance and a disabled premium....depending of course how sick you are, and if even you are in the UK...maybe the link below will prove helpful..good luck

if it is with centrelink (aust)
you can get a benifit , but if there are 2 carers the % is divided .. and it rarely happens this way , if the benifit is a family mamber as carer , then it is probably best that only one claim it, as your application could be refused based on the care already being availiable

Well if the husband claims for her,why would she need to claim more?
