I found out my 3 at 12 weeks gestation, but it is usually around the 18 - 20 week ultrasound.

I found out at 13 weeks and 5 days that I am having a boy. There was an obvious penis.
The fetuses genetalia is developed at 12 weeks.
It can be difficult to tell early but it can be done.
20 weeks is the norm only because that is when 90% of routine ultrasounds are performed.

Usually 20 weeks but sometimes they can tell a little earlier, if the baby is positioned the right way.

18-22 weeks...is the "normal" time...but as long as the baby has their legs wide open..then it would be all good...LoL my friend couldnt find out the sex of her baby at all b/c the baby would hide it..LoL and it ended upbeing a girl

At your 18 to 20 week scan they can tell unless if it were like my little boy and had his legs crossed lol!

At 5 months you can get a sonogram and they can usually tell. But the accuracy rate won't be as high as if you do it well into your 6th month.
