I'm pretty sure that it's 89 million, since there is only something close to 8 billion people on earth. And yes, that's highly populated. The Philippines are small islands, and Arizona (where I am from) has close to 50 million and it's huge compared to those islands, and it's overly populated already!

it sure would be if it were true. where do you get such info? worldwide population doesn't exceed 7-8 billion yet you have 89 billion(?) on this poor island nation! i'm not sure of the exact population/census of the philippines but i can't believe they'd be in excess of 30-40 million / maybe 89 millilon- not billion.
