my friend lost all his song when he plugged his in,but someone i know told me to plug it in and all my songs will transfer on to my new ipod-and that is what i want,neone help?i do have Ultra rare songs-itune formated so dont wanna lose them and can only back up so many songs!

When you get a new ipod and you plug it in a message pops up saying if you want to transfer them to that ipod your friend propley didnt read the message and just clicked no.Just make sure you read any messages that pop up then your songs will be fine =)

no you wont, there are 3 ipods in my house using 1 itune library, you can add on itunes any ipods ie yours wifes childrens and name then in folders so you dont all have the same songs if you want

No u won't lose ur songs they will just transfer to the new iPod. Don't worry about them not transfering they will and u won't lose anything.

in case you plug it in, no. it is going to ask you in case you prefer to repair it, in case you hit specific then you definately will lose your songs. There are classes online so which you may use to get the song off of your iPod to place back on your computing gadget. one that I used to apply is named YamiPod. i might attempt that application first.

I have just upgraded to a new iPod.
When connected, it proceeded to copy my iTunes music library and photo's automatically. Well done 'Apple'.
