An MBA really won't do much good if you can't SPELL.

A lot of places just hire you for your degree for just having it. It shows them you are capable to learn on a higher level. Sometimes though, especially in the IT field which I am in, a degree towards your career is preferred. It just depends on what you want to go into. Business degree, master's especially, is a good general one to get beings almost every company is a business and walla, you got the degree.

Get a masters degree in your favorite category.
A masters degree is never just 'basic.'
You can have a masters degree and get a job in practically any field easier than a person with a (say) BA degree can in his or her chosen field.

If you consider that an MBA's starting salary is about $125,000 per year, I'd say it's worth it!
