Hope you enjoyed window shopping. Remember...do not buy forest green shoes. Blecchhh ;) (I'd also scrap black or white...it'll cheapen the look of your dress. And, boring).

this might sound weird... Go to a furnture store, and try to find a large peice of fruniture that is the same color as your dress. Then look around for some throw pillows. Try placing them on the couch to see which colors absolutely don't work, or ones that might work. Then when you get an idea of works, try to get a sample and head off to the shoe store. The most important thing to remeber is that it's not necissarily the COLOR that makes it work or not , but the tone and intensity of the color. If you choose a strappy sandal, you could probably go with a similar color that has a more intense color ( more pigment)
If you choose a color that is not near the color of your dress, then it's time to break out the color wheel, and find a complementary color, which you can use for you shoes, and sparingly with other accessories ( earrings, maybe a light shoulder wrap)

If you have dark hair, or brown hair, then you cold wear a dark pair of shoes that match or hair, and buy some accessories to go with your shoes.
Personally though, with a light dress, i would wear a light shoe, so the contrast wouldn't be so drastic.
A tan, white, or off white shoe would look pretty.
Even if you bought a crocheted type shoe with straps, and matching purse...*woW!

Silver or gold shoes look great with light colours, especially for a wedding. I'd choose silver with some silver jewellery, but it depends if you normally were gold or silver jewellery. I wouldn't wear a shoe colour that is too dark if the dress is light.

If you are carrying a purse and wearing a shawl or jacket you should coordinate all these accessories plus your shoes, to go with your green dress. Personally I think white is appropriate for May. and with a green dress white with a touch of yellow might work.. think daisys..

White shoes, with a strap, depending on the design of the dress, platinum or white gold jewelry, gold would look tacky, maybe turquoise, but not too much, pearls may work too, not the granny size something appropriate. If you cant wear any harsh metals a shiny copper and titanium may work well, don't take my word on that one I'm just shouting out ideas.

i could pick green, i think of that'd be cute. not basically could it tournament your eyes, yet i think as though it may compliment your dermis and hair. do not pick the bright green hues like lime or a easy green nevertheless. I recommend some variety of dark green. something like an 'emerald green' or in step with threat a sea-green.

I recommend the green n' pink orchid silk flower hair clip by Breezy Beach Wear. The orchid has light green and light pink shades in it and it would look so pretty with your light green dress. http://www.breezybeachwear.com
