Well, I just finished a screenplay and I need a coverage, but since I have not registered it or any copyright, I'm afraid to request for a coverage. I'm afraid that I get my script or its idea stolen.I was wondering if it'd be safe to request a coverage any way. Do you think it's safe? What should I do?

Your written work is automatically copyrighted in its fixed form. But your ideas and concepts are not. It is very important that when you discuss your work with potential producers that you show them the written version and that you are not drawn into discussions of any changes or plot developments until after they offer a contract. keep to the script!!
