I have a laptop.. and a webcam... and i want to film myslef as i paint some of my art.. its going to be a ton of hours, which i will eventually speed up to fast motion. I am trying to figure out the best way to save all those hours of video..

im thinking of getting an external hard drive with like 80 GB on it and having the webcam film and save directly on the external hard drive.. is that doable? is that a smart option? anyone have any other ideas?

thanks
joe

yes that is possable! 80 gb is big enough but you are going to run into issues conserning file size use windows movie maker to convert the video to WMV much smaller, same quality, more video! i would use windows media to record them! it has a feature like that built into it under the file menu!!

The Microsoft Speech popularity pre-put in in dazzling and intensely precise, presented which you have a sturdy mic. additionally, you do no longer pick your palms in any respect (like for switching from Dictation to Voice instructions). you pick in basic terms your voice to apply the computer.
