when serving a police agency with a formal discovery via certified mail and using the correct discovery methods and procudures i.e. certified mail, proper PC, certificate of mailing etc etc, how long does the police station have to send you your requested information? And where in the law does it state any answer givin?? please only real answers.....

The rules of discovery are broader than service methods".... The police agency does not always have to answer your request for discovery. And there are also reasons for this ,some being an on going investigation, informant identity ,and others..

You can find this info in the Criminal Proceedures section of the California Statutes ....and please remember there are lots of Rules, laws and case law that needs to be understood to proceed in this manner......You need a criminal attorney that is familiar with these Rules of Discovery to do a good job for you.....
