I have a 5 set of the above mentioned comic books and I was wanting to know a ball park figure on them. 4 of the 5 are in great condition. Including the 5th book that has the covers of the other 4 combinded with the poster on the inside cover. The last book is alittle worse for wear. the cover is ripped down the spine...about 3/4 of the way...other than that the inside is perfect if aged like the rest of the books.

The 5 cover set is worth about $2-$5 each. That is what most comic shops have them priced at. That set was so over printed, and so over-sold due to the X-men popularity and the hype of the new series at the time that everyone has a copy somewhere. I have 2 sets in my comic box, one set has never been out of the bag/board, still worth about nothing.
So do what you are meant to do with comics, read them and enjoy.

Probably almost nothing, maybe 5 bucks each if in mint condition. The only comics that are worth anything are comics of extreme historical comic significance (such as the introduction of a now classic hero or villain) and those are mainly from the 1960's. Just having a #1 means nothing.
