hi, well im not sure whats really happening to you, but i can give you my example of me not being gay. And that im sure i know im straight.
before i was dating my boyfriend who is now my husband.
And i used to check out girls, with big booty and great shape.
i actualy enjoy cheking them out, at the mall, restaurants ect. ect. i was always with my boyfriend, and we both check out girls. i always thougth if i could ever kiss a girl, but never had the chance. i wanted to know how it would feel. i was attracted to women. The yrs passed and i got married wiht the same guy i used to check out girls. and i still feel attracted to girls and thinkin if i could ever get to kiss one.
But one day, i thought to myself. am i lesbien or bi?
and i started get things clear my head. So i ended up knowing i wasnt lesbien or gay. I love my hubby, i lubb his kiss, his touch, his everything to me, and i dont think i would enjoy the same with a girl, and the fact was because, i luv that my hubby is a man, and who is kissing me and who is caresing me.... is a man....i luv with all my heart and i want it to keep it this way for the rest of my life. because i understood that his Big Manly Hugs! keep me safe, and lubbed! ......... So i hope this helps you a lil bit!

Only you will know if you are gay, straight or bi-sexual. Many people that consider them-self straight may have attractions to members of their own sex from time to time such was present in the Kinsey and numerous other studies. I believe many people also experience different phases in their lives when their attractions may evolve or change.
I dated girls (and had sex with them) for many years until I came out at 28 years of age because I did not want to confront being gay. Once I admitted to myself that I was gay my life has been better, I am happier and have a great partner of almost 9 years. I knew it would not be fair to marry or have a long term relationship with a women that I did not fully love or was completely attracted to.
I don't think your interest in soccer or football has anything to do with being or gay or not. I am a big basketball fan and I know many gay guys who are interested in all types of sports (see www.outsports.com) . I also know straight guys with little or no interest in sports. I think this is a big (outdated ?) stereotype that gay guys don't like sports (plus we think that the athletes guys are cute :)
I wouldn't stress out, in time you will know where your attractions / orientations lie.

I don't think it's a bad thing, be open to it. If you suppress your physical reactions, you'll feel like crap.
