for the most part when you do come here yours questions are all cut and dried anyways, you already have your own anwers and thought so it becomes more of opinion then a question, and many do not know what they are speaking about....the arguement about liberal vs conservative is like argueing religions or genders, or cars, it's a never ending arguement, so instead go have fun, get out and go enjoy life, don't worry so much about politics, the sad part is that so many defend certain politicians and the sad part is that politician does not even know you are alive

GUITARMAN/// go to my profile and see my answers, about the 10th one down, the one where the young man asked about taking mechanical engineering in college...as you will see i did not try to correct his spelling of college, i just answered what i believe to be what he wanted me to answer......i do not go around trying to impress myself with correcting other people's typos.....for the life of me i simply cannot understand why so many people here cannot understand a simply question without taking it all out of context

This section attracts the most "colourful" people. Political opinions are like mothers, everyone has one. Those who lack in the political knowledge you speak of come here to cause trouble or just rant. It is a matter of tuning them out.

Speaking of misinformed? Just so you know, I just turned 19 with a great life behind me and an even better ahead of me. I have fun everyday, I go out late night almost every weekend and believe me...I have done some stuff you will never be able to do.....But I'm also socially aware. I understand that politics will influence me and you one way or another. If people like Dr.King and Cesar Chavez thought the way you did then I bet the 'world would be a better place' right?
Most of my friends are complete ignoranuses and have no Idea about current events at all or politics, but when they have to go through some type of bureaucracy like the D.M.V or some tax increase they always say---"blood, this is B.S". I wonder what they would say if we had a draft and they got drafted to go to war and possibly lose a leg, arm. eye or even die....oh yea, but wait politics doesn't really matter according to you. The entire general population should just not worry about where our government takes us, we shouldn't engage in an intelligent debate and express our privilege and right to speak out against our government right? You must really be a politics expert to know when someone doesn't know what there political opinion is...right? Man, I admire you. I wish all Americans though like you.....(In case you didn't get it yet, it's called sarcasm)

Political discourse of all forms has sunk to the loest common denominator. Just before I read your question, I was thinking the same exact thing.

I am proud to say I listen to Sean Hannity, and it took me a while to get into Hannity because I had heard he as just a knee-jerk conservative, which he is, but he is open to hearing what people from the other side have to say and on his radio and TV show, he allows people who disagree to call in and try to defend indefensable positions. This is clearly more balanced that what any of the 24/7 news channels which are allegedly objective do, or shows like "Today" and "Good Monring America" which will claim they provide information on the Iraq war and then let John Murtha speak for twenty minutes without bringing on opposing viewpoints- I bet that's the requirement these liberal media outlets have if they want Murtha as a guest.

LOL!

You don't REALLY ask questions, here. This is where you rant, vent, slander, and otherwise humiliate one side or the other.

Very few honest questions regarding politics or military are asked, here. It's usually a way to start a fight...

Generally people have nothing better to do so they come on-line with illiterate and stupid questions. I too become very upset with the people who pose these questions and wish they would spend their time elsewhere.

Isn't it nice to live in a country that we can disagree freely and openly and yes call names to those that we don't agree with and them at us. I imagine there are millions in China doing the same thing tonight. Ya think?

In English, it's "arguing" and "argument." Nice thoughts, though, but undermined by bad grammar/spelling/capitalization.

So your solution would be to stick your head in the sand and just ignore the dangerous direction our government has been allowed to go??????
