The media's commitment to the public is simply to keep us informed on what's going on in our own community, as well as around rhe world.
The're personal opinions are not suppose to be interjected into the story, unless asked otherwise, but some of the journalists do step over that boundry line sometimes. If they do step over the journalist boundries, it's sure to cost them either their job or have a reprimand put in their personal file.
Most journalists have great integrity when reporting the daily news or a Breaking News Story such as such as the 9/11/2001 Tradegy, All the news reporters on that story were very professional, although you did see the pain on some of there faces. The best coverage I thought was the 60 hrs. straight that Peter Jenning{ GOD REST HIS SOUL}.>>>> [July/29/1938--Aug./0/2005] did for ABC.A great Canadian-American journalist from Toronto.(Canada) ++++
News is a part of our every day lives & I applaud all the great journalists out ther keeping me informed on World Events & Local Events in my community. I know we have a variety of ways nowadays to get the news, such as the Internet,T.V. & Newspaper, & we couldn't get all this info without great journalists of all genres.
Over & Out>>>>REBELCAT:****
[ P.S. Remember we have commitment to them also, & that is to hope that the story they're reporting is accurate & informative.] Good-Night==One & All....
