my computer seems too running too fast the cpu usage is at like 80 90 jpercent whats with that tell me its not virus

i think i have it fixed i think there were to many things run at one time i got a process manager and seems too be doing better :>)

Are you saying noise or just CPU load? If it sounds like a boat motor it could be the fan in the power supply.
If just CPU load then something is using it. You have to find out what that is. It could be anything, even hard drive accessing if you have an IDE drive type or the modem if you have one of those darn win-modems.
It could be a virus too. Have you looked at all the running processes not just the program names?
