I have an IBM ThinkPad 390E and when I turn it on, the touchpad doesn't work; the cursor doesn't move. My good friend was using it a few days ago and it was fine. What did I do?? Thanks.

Hola7!

Probably disabled the touchpad:

how to enable:
right-click on My Computer | Manage | Device Manger | Mice and other pointing devices | enable device...

if nothing was disabled then simple buy a cheap external mouse and make you 'goog' friend cough up some cash for the damage...

good luck

then open system restore and restore your computer to an earlier time when was it work fine
and if you don't know how to use system restore go to this link:
