Okay if smoking is so important to you what about the people who breathe your second hand smoke? Will you think it's cool when you give them lung cancer? How cool are you going to feel at their funeral? I'm sure you've seen those commercials on tv where people have had to have their voice
box removed because of throat cancer. If you like talking with the help of a medical device go right ahead but, if you come
anywhere near me I'll make you eat whatever you like to smoke!!!!!!!!!!!

There are two kinds of people in the world. Smokers and nonsmokers. Figure out what you are and be that.

Yes, smoking is socially unacceptable. Yes, it will kill you or at least diminish your quality of life in later years. Yes, people will tell you it's bad (hell, it says so right on the pack). But you are presumably a consenting adult in a consumer relationship with the brand of your choice. You spend $4 a day (or more) on smokes, I spend that much (or more) on Starbucks. I would no sooner ask you to give up your fix than I would be willing to sacrifice mine.

Live and LET LIVE.

Ps. Sometimes on days like these... I wish I was still a smoker.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It is your opinion that smoking is cool and it is my opinion that it isn't. I smoked cigarettes from the time I was 15 until I first got pregnant at age 30. I knew the right thing to do for the baby was to stop smoking, so I did and I never did smoke again. I'm glad I don't have the habit anymore. Not only does cigarette smoke stink, but its very bad for you and now it is a very expensive habit!

You have the right to do what you want to your own body (assuming you are over 18).

But you might be interested to know that my Aunt died of Lung Cancer when she was only 50, my Father smoked until he was 54, was told he had to quit, than became an alcoholic, my Grandather had BOTH his legs amputated because of poor circulation and I have never smoked and never will.

I like smoking too, it relieves stress and anxiety and feels good. i could give a sh!t about the health effects other than that, otherwise id have to worry about everything i eat from the grocery store allot of which is much more unhealthy. Its weird how they picked one particular thing to focus so much propaganda towards and hatred towards the smokers. I think its because smokers are almost their own sub-culture in some ways mainly as a result of the anti-smokers but maybe thats why they are attacking us so much cause they think this is high school all over again. The anti-smokers really need to grow up and if they care about respiratory health can quit driving since driving actually does effect everyone else.

I think you should smoke because you like how it feels, not how you look while you're doing it. I mean you're going to get sick eventually, so don't do it for such a shallow reason. If that's all you like about it, get some "herbal" smoke that doesn't do anything.

You will think its the bomb when your skin dries up and you hack and cough all day, oh and not be able to climb a flight of stairs. People like you should be turned down when you need a vital organ transplant.

Volunteer what time you have left on a cancer ward. Get a first hand look at what the future holds for you.
