There are a couple factors that may be interfering with your sleep cycle. First, identify any changes in your sleeping atmosphere. It should be dark and quiet. Have there been any interruptions? Second, a change in diet can affect your sleep. Are you eating less? Eating less causes you to sleep less. Also, eating a lot of food may cause you to crash immediately and then wake up after a few hours. Same thing with passing out from alcohol. Third, your levels of melatonin affect your circadian rhythm. Are you getting enough sunlight? Exposure to the sun supplies us with melatonin that later helps us fall asleep. You can actually take melatonin as a supplement in pill form right before you go to bed if you are unable to get sunlight regularly. Fourth, stress, excitement or anticipation can keep you from sleeping. Fifth, if you work out regularly and then stop, your body will not have it's usual outlet for energy and so may wake you from your sleep. Those are the main reasons, but there may be something particular to your situation. Any other specifics you want to give?

sounds like a sleep disorder. The reason you do not sleep well might be you have anxiety, or something you worried about. The dark circle under your eyes are caused by sleep debt, which mean if you do not sleep enough, you will build up sleep debt. Take a hot shower and drink a cup of milk before bed will help and also take the MELATONIN supplement to aid you sleep.

7 hours is normal amount of sleep. Try sleeping earlier than your regular bed time. Avoid caffeine , sugars hours before bedtime. You will only get rid of the dark circles when you get more sleep. Try over the counter sleep aids. If they don't work, see a doctor about prescription sleep pills.

stress from those big tests might be keeping you up.
try having a small energitic snack just before you start to feel tired. a little physical activity might help you get a deeper sleep and make you feel more refreshed.

good luck on the exams

Don't be offended, but are you overweight? YOu may have sleep apnea if you have unrefreshing sleep. Video tape your self sleeping and if you see your self choking, gagging, or going long periods w/o breathing you may have a problem. Either way see your doctor-he may test you for anemia, low thyroid and other conditions
