Well that would depend on if you wanted a serious answer or some realistic humor.
Seriously , I think you stand around waiting to see where you are and if you have been good enough to be accepted where the rest of your loved ones might be.(hopefully they were good) if not you might want to use or take some sunscreen.
Some people believe in Karma and reincarnation, so after you die depending on how you lived your life you might get to come back again as someone or something else could maybe even be some inanimate object. Hopefully not a fire hydrant.
My husband says he wants to comeback as a female so he can give it away all the time, so he can know what he has been missing....LOL... he is such a smart mule....

I have read a little bit about it in some books and most of them believe they just go into the light and that is it, others believe that they are reunited with their loved ones.

there is no afterlife. i have died 3 times and come back, seriously. i have died 3 times and there was no tunnel of light or a path of flame. we just turn into decaying matter just like every other living creature or plant. there is no big mystery. it is just our minds and other people that want to tell us different.
