When I was a kid...my Mom got a hold of a mannequin hand...I still don't know exactly...lol....but we didn't see it until April's Fool day....when she made us breakfast that morning...she made pancakes....& she laid the hand on top of the pancakes & covered it all up with a lid...so when we opened it...there was this hand...OMG...scared the crap out of us!.....That hand then went into the front window of the car....so EVERYONE in town knew Mom's car....because of this hand...LOL...it even helped hand out Halloween candy every yr.....We finally had to retire it when we got to be teens....it lost a finger....lol
Mom has since come across another one....& every yr. we use this hand as a joke for my kids who are 7 & 9.....& they love it....you never know where or when this hand is going to show up....it has even snuck into backbacks right before leaving for school!...LOL....& yes...it helped last yr with the Halloween candy...only thing is...I don't have it in my car...I REFUSE to allow Mom to put it in there...
Maybe you can go to a store that has some mannequins & see if they have any extra hands....& then you will have a prank tradition.....LOL

you can pack them up into the family car and tell them that you're all going on a mini vacation, after driving around for about 20 minutes or so, pull into a fastfood eatery like Mcdonalds or Wendy's and shout "Ok kids, we're here!!" They'll be pissed at you, but it's a hell of a prank.
