and i also have a lexmark printer, the printer wont work on my computer, i dont have the cd to download the printer, does that mean the printer wont work with out the cd

just go to the lexmark site and download a driver....same thing that comes on the cd
look for support or download link and pick out your model #

all you need is the driver for that printer model available at their site

yeah... look for a number to call... lexmark actually has good staff, who just MIGHT be able to resend it to you...
