First of all, there is peace between the US and Iraq. There is no conflict between us. The conflict is between the insurgents, militias, and the Government of Iraq and Coalition Forces.
Second, the bombing of innocent people will stop when the Government of Iraq and the Coalition Forces can force the insurgents/militias out or to surrender.

The U.S. and Iraq are no longer at war. The newly formed government in Iraq is actually the benefactor of U.S. Security forces in Iraq; however, tension between Sunni Muslims and Shites threatens the stability of this middle eastern nation and the region as similar populations are dominant in various countries in the region. The potential for spill-over conflict in Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Jordan, is ever present.
The U.S. military does not have a policy to target innocent civilians for bombing or combat, only insurgents or terrorist combatants are blowing up innocent civilians, so maybe your question should be to them and not intended to disgrace or dishonor our brave troops protecting you while you hide behind a computer on YA acting smug and indignant.
As far as fact-less based contentions that the USA was motivated by oil, why has gas gone up if we "hit the oil jackpot" on this little venture? Please!? Stop pandering to the terrorist.....
GOD BLESS THE USA & OUR BRAVE FIGHTING MEN & WOMEN!

Peace? it's quite possible that there may be a type of peace but this war is not over and will spread and become worse than it is......Watch the news GLENN BECK is a good start.
These people are not all innocent but are (sorry) collateral damage to the hell that greed, politics, fanatical religion and ancient hatred that is the middle east......

..I hope so..I'm getting a bit confused about the world today..I just hope that we will not wake up someday in a world full of chaos..hmmmmm...these people were adults now,but how could they act as if they nevr left their childhood..I hope I can share this question to those on "top"..but anyway, because I'm still astudent, I'll have shut my mouth and listen..I do hope that someday we can simply give our comments to adults without being told'you don't know what you're saying"..or don't interfere with adult things"...anyway,is this what I'll become when I become an adult?would I view things like this..I hope not..I'll like it more if I'll understand the world the way a child does..better than being indulged in such things..

The US is NOT at war WITH Iraq...we are at war IN Iraq...helping to free Iraqi people from decades of torture and tyrannical leadership under Saddam Husein and now battling the insurgents that support him

The Iraqis are TERRORISTS. They need to be crushed. I would ban firearms and send them all to jail for ever.
The US is entitle to the oil for expences encured in bringing peace and stability, prosperity and free speach to the region.
