What is the proper usage of the oscilloscope in order to measure the output of the op-amp accurately?

Set the Time base to "auto' to run continuously, set the vertical amplifier probe to x10, at first. Set the vertical amplifier input attenuator to 0.1 volts per division. Time base rate should be set to about 1 mS per division for horizontal sweep. Trigger is best set after you have a display on the screen. The Vertical amplifier probe should be connected to the output pin of the Op-Amp, with the ground clip connected to ground. You'll want the DC/AC switch for the vertical amplifier set to AC, since this prevents any DC potential from off setting the oscilloscope display trace. Ad just all of the controls, one at a time, until you have a stable display that is at least 4 divisions high, wave form is clearly viewable and covers the complete X axis.
