Ive been told HPT's dont work on some women at all, ever, even if theyre months pregnant? Theyll always come out negative. Why would that happen?

It is because your body doesn't make enough of the hormone that at home test look for when you are pregnant. So yes some women always get negitive results and the only way to know for sure is to go get a blood test done at the hospital.

what the home pregnancy measures is te human chorionic gonadotropin.a hormone that increases when pregnant.hpt is not a definitive test for pregnancy just presumptive. it takes 2 weeks of pregnancy for it to be positive. and you know what there's one condition that it is positive even though you dont have fetus inside you, the hydatidiform mole. it is still best to consult OB gyne to be definitive

I used EPT and it worked both times (one was a miscarriage). It's just a fluke I guess.
