when i start it up in the morning it starts fine but after 5 mins it cuts out it does start again after a while but cuts out a few more times once its warm it runs perfect any ideas any one

There is a flap in the air inlet , this is a classic symptom of this not working , or is there an automatic choke or fuel enrichment device , maybe car is running rich and by stopping releasing this . Sorry cant be anymore specific.

is it the k-jet one > a mk2..??? k-jet suffers from low sulphur fuel...
My mk2 16v used to cut out because the dizzy seal had gone and was filling the distributor cap full of oil !
