mostly historical and they take all those cute guys in them and i t is real not a fiction and we learn morals frm them which r said by all those guys who just say it beautifully and then there is no woman bitching there

TV programmes like Lost,Heroes,Prison Break,Dexter,24,Desperate Housewives and such...series which are well-written,smart and genius,with cliff-hangers and flashbacks and moments where it explains some things, facts and truth moments, it really shows how smart the writers are and how the story was well written, and I feel it really captivates a person and makes you wanna watch. I dont watch these series to learn, just for the heck of entertainment and fun,thats all....TV shows like cop shows and shows with afew characters and each episode is not connected to the others (has a story of its own like CSI and such) dont interest me. I love shows with a developing story,cliff-hangers and...well,you get the idea. Reality shows are SOOO stupid, the only I loved and was well worth every minute is The Amazing race, but thats my opinion...

These types of shows will really make me watch and be entertained because of the good stories they possess that not just aim to give eye-candy to the viewers but also would make them think and really appreciate the story (not just the effects or the action or the face-value of the actors). These good elements contribute to the longevity to the show because they always seem "fresh" to the viewers.
Other than the series above mentioned, I also watch the following:
The Naked Chef
Oliver's Twist (basically anything from the Food Channel)
New Yankee Workshop
Discovery Channel & National Geographic Channel (Those that pertain to sci-tech because I'm an Electronics Engineer)
Because these shows provide knowledge and TONS of info so I find them REALLY WOrTH-WATCHING!!! :-)

I really enjoy reality TV. I like Survivor, Top Chef, Project Runway, The Real Housewives of Orange County, and The Girls Next Door. Yes, I watch trash TV but I don't care! It's entertaining. I don't *have* to watch TV to learn something -- I get that from my friends, books, and life. I watch TV to escape and enjoy myself, and these shows work for me.
