Guessing the birds are pigeons (or starlings...). Is there a way to remove the perches they are using ? You can also look into bird repellent products, one of them is basically just a sticky substance that you apply where they are perching, birds don't like the feeling so they don't perch there (think there's one called tanglefoot) + since you aren't harming the birds those pesky PETA shouldn't bother you, tough poison probably wasn't the answer since the birds go die somewhere and often cause secondary kills of predators and scavengers (which technically you want around). You can also look around for falconry service, fake raptors are fairly inefficient but a real peregrine does the trick, they often use that method in airports to keep birds away.

RE:
I have a bird infestation, How do I get rid of them?

Make a homemade flamethrower using a pressurized container of a gasoline to blast them straight to hell.
But you can also just use a replica owl, as this has been shown to scare many small birds away. But this is not as fun as the flamethrower idea.

When you see them there, blast them with the pressure hose they will soon move away. If they are nesting, get up there and destroy their nests.
P.S can i JUST say that PETA suck, and I am a big supporter of animals.

Stand under them and tell bird jokes. They will be offended and leave.
