Joint bank account belongs to Party A and B. Garnishee order issued by a bank is for Party A only for a transaction which Party B was not involved in. Can the garnishee order still stand and the bank holds all monies in the account since the money may belong to Party B as well?

Yes, a GO can still tap on the money in the joint account, but creditors tend to avoid taking all the money for joint account, they will probably attempted half of it. If there is a dispute that needs to settle in court, it will be easier for the creditors to win the case if they take half, else the court will most likely to grant in favor of the account holder and let them take the money back. Creditors will want to avoid this scenario as they will end up paying the legal fees for the plaintiff as well.

Your wife is planning something (for herself) and when she has used you up and youre broke, she's gonna blame you, and leave you. There is too much distrust from her, because in a marriage - you share 50/50. I know you love her, but she is using sex to distract you. Picture yourself in a few more years, if this continues??? Do you think she will stay with you once all the money is gone?? You should put a lock on your account with the only access of you, and give money (in her hand for only monthly necessities. Also, she should get a job and have more to do with her time then use you up. Otherwise, she is gonna clean you out and use sex as a weapon. I hate to say it, but it seems like she is about to leave you for someone else. Is this something that you want to continue until you are broke and alone? Make a change.

I thought that if the bank account are setup such that withdrawals need to be authorised by both account holders, then in such case, if Party B is not named in the GO, the bank has no rights to the cash available unless another GO is issued to both parties?

In any case, I'm curios how creditors would know which bank account your salary is credited to each month? Do they have such rights to request information from all banks for your account activities each month?
