I keep my leg elevated all the time, yet my foot is still ice cold and swollen. I mentioned this to my doctor, and he told me to continue to elevate it. Do you think he is right, or is this an indication something is seriously wrong?

Rene- I have a appt next week with an Ortho who I believe specializes in Micro-surgery. Its just scary because I don't know if my Plastic Surgeon put enough concern it what I told him. My leg is as cold as anything you would pull out of your fridge, and the swelling will not go down. But I know I have severe trauma my leg was mauled by a dog. Thanks for your input.
