Do you think they are changing the mid- east to help out the Judaism Hebrew nation or are they building muslin Arab nations to wipe out Israel in the end times?

Well, you have two different questions. For the first question, yes, I think Christian soldiers should be willing to lay down their lives for anyone and everyone, like Jesus. For your second question, I think it's relevant, but the situation is too organic to really tell what actions will lead to what events in the future regarding the nation of Israel. The Bible says that during the end times, ALL nations will turn on Israel, including the USA. So, we know that's inevitable - not that we give into it now, just because we know it will happen, but not too much would change in the overall scheme of things in the end-times whether we were in the Middle East or not right now.

"Am I my brother's keeper?" asked Cain.

As an American, I'm proud that our soldiers are willing to lay down their lives so that others can be free. Three hundred million people in western Europe are free today because US servicemen were willing to take that risk. Many paid the ultimate price.

Fifty million Koreans today can say the same, and I could list others. Twenty million Iraqis who once lived under a brutal tyrant are free today because American soldiers were willing to lay down their lives for the liberty of others.

There are some in the world who don't like the idea of freedom. As with Hitler in the 1930s, they believe that it is better if the secret police can smash down people's doors in the middle of the night and haul away for execution those who disagree with them. I'm proud to belong to a country that doesn't agree, and where people are still prepared to risk our lives so that others can be free.

There's an important post-script here, if the Asker were suggesting that US servicemen are "Christian soldiers." America is a secular nation. Our armed forces are drawn from every religion and every community of our country.

Perhaps the Asker will remember what, for Osama Bin Laden and a lot of Moslem jihadists, the biggest complaint against America is? Our secularism!

The real question is: why do "Christians" feel the need to kill (and die) others in the name of god?

Also: it is true that we are royally screwing up with the middle-east because the last thing we want is for them to unite! We have counted on them fighting each other for years...if they unite against a common enemy it would not be good for us.

P.S. IF I HEAR ONE MORE THING ABOUT THE END TIMES i get very upset because to me "the end times" is the great Christian cop-out. It is the belief that we can do whatever we want now because god will come and save us tomorrow...and that is horse-$h*t. If you act like it is the end-times you might make it so...just don't expect anybody to save you. Take responsibility for your actions today because WE WILL HAVE TO CLEAN UP THE MESS WE MAKE TODAY TOMORROW.

The objective in the middle east is to change the government and bring freedom to that part of the world. Loking for weapons of mass destruction was the given reason. Yes we did find them and we are still finding them, they are the people that commit suicide and kill hundreds of others as well. No I don't think anyone should die but our soilders are protecting our shores and us. God bless America

It is self-righteous to discriminate and help only certain humans based on race, religion, gender, wealth, age, etc.. A faith that breeds brotherly love and tolerance is healthy and good. A faith that breeds self-righteousness and intolerance is morbid and evil.

i saw the question immediately and thought, yes. It should not matter what religion you are as long as you're willing to help or get help or both. put everything aside and help.
