lots of things.

lets see, if you are in the military than they could be useful not as air force because they'd get shot to easily. but the NAVY seals for extraction stealth killing and loud killing. ect ect.

a pet because they can be nice and protect you (if you train them) and good body guards.

now those are literal uses, if you believe in all those powers and poshens then

you can use almost every thing from bones and skin for armor and weapons or tools to shlt and blood for possions.

if your a scientist then you could study then but that might be hard.

I could go on and on if you want to e-mail me please!

1- fight Thread
2The race was intentionally designed to fight Thread after it first caught the human colonists on Pern unaware, with devastating results. Geneticist Kit Ping Yung designed the dragons by manipulating the genetic code of the indigenous fire-lizards that had been pets of the colonists.
3dragons can breathe fire by chewing a phosphine-bearing rock called "firestone," which reacts with an acid in a special "second stomach" organ. This forms a volatile gas that can be exhaled at will and ignites upon contact with air. The flame is used to burn Thread from the sky before it reaches the ground. However, the chewed firestone must be expelled from the body after it is used up, for the dragons cannot digest it.

1. The dragon is useful as a culinary artist.
2. As a native Texan I'd lke to formally give credit where it is due. They invented bar - q. It started out a little on the overdone side, but Texans owe a lot to these misunderstood masters of char-grill.
3. They are also valuable as machismo magnets. Any time a knight ever felt, you know, like he needed to compensate for other shortcomings, he could go out, slay a dragon and be a hero. The damsels really went for that sort of thing, especially the ones tied to the poles as sacrifices awaiting the coming of the dreaded dragon. Dragons were sorta tough to kill, since a lot of really tough knights in shining armor never got close enough to kill them with their trusty swords. (Hence the invention of using Reynolds Wrap to barb-q.)

1. Dragons are good for practicing intensive horticulture, such as slash-and burn.
2. The reason for this is that, instead of having to clear the tress and light and control the spread of the forest to clear your fields for planting, you can simply get your dragonto torch your desired area within seonds.
3. Not only will it save time, but you can also ask the dragon to turn the soul by digging into the ground with it's claws. You can also use your dragon to roast marshmellows to celebrate the quick work that will lead to bountiful harvests.

Terrorizing villages.

Sometimes, I may not like the villagers too much. With a dragon, I can pretend I'm dropping napalm on silly little buildings.

Also, should the dragon fall ill and die, the meat could be sent to families of the deceased.

1. Dragons are useful because they can offer insight on a situation that you might not understand completely at the time.

2. I am Wiccan/Pagan and have asked my guardian dragon to help me understand certain situations and it has helped me.

3. NEVER EVER EVER thank a dragon! They get offended and pissed off. The word "appreciate" is much better, such as "I appreciate the help you've given me."
