I never waxed my eyebrow because I don't want the scar to be seen. I had it when I was little, my forehead hit a door and left a scar next to my eyebrow cuz the doc did a bad job sewing it up. Should I get the laser surgery to remove the scar before waxing my eyebrow?

And will the laser surgery remove the scar?

I have a little scar right above my left eyebrow too from hitting a window seal when I was little and my mom didn't take me to the doctor to get stitches so it's not straight either and I wax my brows every week, my brow is a little skinnier towards the end on my left brow but not so bad I wouldn't go as far as having laser surgery I think it gives character I don't feel the need to be perfect... and it's not bad enough to really make a difference why don't you just try waxing first usually they artist will try to match the sides as best as possible and it should turn out okay, if you don't like it you can also try threading (done by Indian women ) it's little more precise than waxing if you still don't like then at least you tried the less expensive ways first and then go from there

If you make it through life without a few scars and bumps, you haven't really lived!

Tell you what... I have a bump on the right side of my forehead right about at my hairline from when I was 5 years old. I fell off my bike, headfirst into the concrete sidewalk and cracked my skull. Now I am 20 years old and the bump is still there. For a while it was all I could see when I looked in the mirror, but you know what? Nobody else noticed it until I pointed it out to them.

Your scar will likely stand out to you because you know it's there and you're self-conscious about it. But to be perfectly honest, if it's a little line in the middle of your eyebrow, it's likely people won't notice it. And even if people do notice it, what are you afraid of? Nobody's going to make fun of you for a scar like that. People are squishy, we get cut and then we scar. It happens, and I'm sure people understand that.

There is also a possibility that laser surgery will cause more damage to the hair follicles around the scar and create a larger patch of skin in the middle of your eyebrow. I don't know how likely that is, but remember, hair removal therapy uses lasers... and all it would take is one slip from the doctor...

If it reeeally bothers you this much, why not just use brow powder and an angled brush to fill it in? If your eyebrows are dark, you could use a pencil and probably get away with it... but I strongly suggest: Embrace your scar!

well I think you should embrace your scar i think people look totally cool with scars from when they were kids i have like a few friends with scars on there head from when they were a child.. but my best friend actually got laser surgery on her scar on her head b/c something about the sun or something could infect it and she still has a little scar but it looks good so you should get the laser surgery done if you are insecure about the scar ... and you can get it the wax before the surgery

I have a similar scar, I just pluck the hairs that grow sporadically around it and lightly pencil in the end of my eyebrow...you can't even tell!!
