without electricity?....no tv..no computer..nothing..what would u do?

Good one, blinky! I have all the necessities to live without electricity in my camping equipment. I also have emergency gear in the house, such as a hurricane lamp, water containers, cool safe, and other things. Going camping in the bush or the outback, or on the river, are some of the things many Australians do regularly entirely without electricity. Then we come home and turn all the bloody lights on!

Well, I need electricity to get water(I have a well) but I can do w/out tv or computer. Everyone should try it.

during hurricanes we often had to live for a week without it..so you break out the grill and cook outside..have a block party because everyones freezer is going bad..have to cook all the food. sleep with just a sheet....its like camping..candles, flashlights..get a readers digest and read to your family for entertainment..or better yet the bible.
It is a good time to have strong bonds grow between family members and teaches kids they need their parents.

Read books and go to bed early. Would love it. Never watch TV anyway and computers are for work.

probably, but i wouldn't like it much. i'd probably spend alot of time outdoors, or reading, or sewing, or cleaning... there really is alot to do without electricity, it's just we live in a society that loves to sit and have everything done for them. I would miss Y/A though... but for one week, i could do it.

Lived 2 weeks without it during an ice storm once. I read alot of books.

Hmm... It's a hard thing to think about but I suppose some sort of fun-filled trip camping or something like that would make it easier to get over as you'd have other things to entertain you instead of fretting about your inbox.

i don't think so.... if no electricity, i would go out with my friends to the mall.....oh wait, the mall will be closed because of NO ELECTRICITY.

Haha probably just sleep all day. Thats what I did when my cable got cut and they took a few days to fix it, and hook up road runner lol
