I am starving all the time. No matter what I eat or how much I eat I will be hungry within thirty min. Do you know how I can divert this feeling so I don't eat all the time. I am eating healthy food. I have made veggies and chicken the star in my new pregnant diet. Please advise, I am only five weeks and I will gain one hundred pounds if this continues.

FIVE WEEKS!?!?....You have to keep exercising throughout, Not only for your health and your baby's health, but it will save you quite a bit of troublr trying to get back into shape when the baby is born. Many gyms have exercise programs for pregnant women, and there are also many videos and books to help you too

Not sure. This is probably just a first trimester thing. You will find constant change over the next few months. As long as you eat healthy foods - really healthy and not prepackaged rubbish claiming to be healthy ( like breakfast bars and fruit roll-ups, you know the things I mean) Your body is using up a lot more energy now than it used to so it will need that stuff replaced. Make sure your chicken is well cooked and be careful not to overdose on too many hormones. The veges are good though and if you cut up a heap at once you can snack all day on carrot sticks and celery. I ate a 2kg bag of oranges A DAY for my first trimester and I was fine (and so was the baby)

OMG!!! You too? I recently asked a question like this you should look it up and get the responses. The question was: Am I too Big?
Anyway, I am hungry all the time and everytime I eat the slightest thing BAM! I gain a pound. Its so bad the doctor put me on a diet. Its not like I don't eat healthy, It more like I eat healthy foods and they are soooo healthy they don't feel me up. So I eat, eat, eat, eat!!!! I am 23 weeks and i have gained 20 pounds already. Before i became pregnant I was a basket ball player so I ate all i wanted and never gained a pound. Now that my activities are limited the weight just piles on.
But, The people who answered my question really helped yoyu should check it out.

I was starving all the time too. If you are hungry, eat up, just eat healthy. Drink lots of water, that did help stave the hunger a little. Lucky for me I didn't crave any junk food and barely ate any. I still gained 40 pounds and lost 35 pounds of it 6 months after the baby was born.

If you are worried about gaining alot of weight, go to a dietician who can help you

If you don't eat, you will feel sick because your body needs the energy.

Drink lots of water 8 glasses a day. Sometimes your brain confuses being hungry with dehydration.

You could seriously gain too much weight and get a form of diabetes that pregnant women get,so check your sugar frequently if you gain weight at the Doc's office....

Yep, that is the bad thing about being pregnant. As you get further to the end, you will not be able to eat as much because of the pressure and discomfort--all you will want is to get it over with.
