What qualities do you think make Atticus so outstanding as a father, lawyer and a neighbour?

I think Atticus is outstanding as a father, a lawyer and a neighbor since he is a great man of principle, virtue and integrity. He is unbiased by mere racism, in other words, he respects all human beings regardless of their skin colors, religion or ethnicity. Moreover, he is a family man (without a wife to help him) who understands children and loves them with kindness and trust. I think there are also other qualities left for you to find out and reflect more by reading the novel again and again.
